Old cars, pigeons and terns

Yesterday we had Christmas parade here in Thames. I totally forgot about it and went to shoot terns.
I am happy shooting birds with EOS R. I just shoot 4-5 shots in a burst. My keeper rate is as good as 5D IV if not better. I am not taking 10 - 15 shots in a sequence as I did with 5D IV, so much fewer pics to discard. I use zone AF instead of 9 points AF mode which I used with my other Canon cameras, it is easier to track with this mode as there is some VF lag.
All pictures processed with ACR and Photoshop CC। All pics are cropped 20 to 30%.

Look at the 3rd pic, there is a small bluish rectangle in the middle. It wasn't there in the RAW file. I processed the pic again and it wasn't there. ACR/PS did something weird just once.
On my way back home I took a different route and saw the parade. I had to use 10 - 400 as I didn't have any other lens with me. It's a small town parade but there is lots of enthusiasm. I missed most of it.

And some pigeons today.

Loving the camera. Don't miss 5DIV anymore.
My shooting style is simple (I am not a pro). I only use manual exposure. So, the only thing I am changing during shooting is shutter speed if the light changes. I use the default wheel for it. It is the same as my previous Canons. So, it is easy. I use * button to change between single shot and servo mode. I use Mf.n bar to change AF modes. I leave it in active mode, I hardly ever accidentally change it. I actually love Mf.n button. At this point I can say EOS R is the easiest and most satisfying camera I have ever used.
