Monitor choice for Lightroom/Photoshop: 27'' or 32'', 2k or 4k?

Hi everyone, I'm considering upgrading my several years old monitor.

Right now I have a 27'' Samsung S27D360H. I'm kinda happy with it, after calibrating it with DisplayCAL.
I do 50% Lightroom and 5% Photoshop, 45% office work.
At times it feels smaller, other times I'm unhappy with the limited color palette and uneven lighting.

I am considering upgrading to one of the following options:

1) Bigger + 4k: 32'' 4k Monitor (BenQ SW320 or Eizo EV3285)

Pro: bigger
Con: performance, scaling issues?

2) Same size but better colors: 27'' EIZO ColorEdge CG2730 or CS2730

Pro: color palette
Con: expensive for the size, might be overkill for me

3) Just Bigger: 32'' 2k Monitor

Pro: bigger and probably performance compared to 4k
Con: not future proof, double screen setup might be better in 2k

My main concern is the performance of Lightroom with 4k displays and possible scaling issues.
I have an i7 3770k CPU overclocked to 3.8GHz (4.1GHz single core), 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 and 1TB SSD for the OS, and Lightroom si already not as fast as I would like it to be.

The second concern is: do I really need a CG/CS monitor, in terms of results of my work?
I do plan to print more in the future, but so far I got good enough results with the Samsung.

Budget up to 1500 EUR/USD. So bigger CG Eizo is not an option.
Thanks for your input!
