I'm not sure if it's going to help or not. The terminology is quite confusing and unclear.

Liveview feed is almost 50+% better. It's no A9 (where EVF tracking is litterally identical to just shooting video) but this is a dramatic improvement. It's even working on my 50mm STM!

Why the hell aren't they making this default?

I'll look for the compromise which most likely will be a decreased EVF IQ/aliasing or so, perhaps increased buffer writing speed (saving to cache), significant battery life drop, there must be something funky.

You've no idea how this changed my look at my EOS R!
