Is my NX500 the only one that does this?

Whenever the flash is mounted and the camera is turned on, it will fire when I raise it so I can use it to provide some fill or lower it again immediately after using it.

Is this normal and if not, is it because of something I did or didn't do? It doesn't seem to be causing any harm and the camera seems to be functioning fine otherwise (although now that I think about it, it does appear to randomize exposure occasionally; i.e., three consecutive photos taken one after the other to freeze action using the same exposure settings will end up being exposed slightly differently.)

Thanks!
