I have both cameras, both used extensively outdoors in challenging conditions and extreme weather.  Never a problem with either. However I have a preference for the E-M5 MKII as I often use a tripod and then the rotating screen beats the flip up. I also tend to prefer the 5 as a walkaround camera. However the E-M1.1 is a better fit for the longer lenses (40-150, 12-100) and indeed the 7-14.  The different control layouts could make you lose a shot, so unless you plan on shooting from tripod, I’d say go with a 2nd E-M1.1
