Fuji X-A2 compared to Original X100
Nov 26, 2018
Ok, first off I know these are some older models. I have been a photographer for 20 years, I've shot with cheap equipment and I've shot with expensive equipment but for me it usually boils down to whatever is the least bulky but still able produce good image quality and have the ability to change things as I see fit. Another way I've put it is that I'm over myself as far as being a photographer, if an auto setting produces good results, I'll use it unless I don't want to. That being said, I've recently shot with a Fuji X-E2 and X100, eventually selling the X-E2 because I found the X100 far more suitable to my needs. I sold the X100 recently for financial reasons and decided to go without a camera for a while, but I've seen a thousand photographic opportunities since I've been without a camera and my phone just isn't cutting it. So when the opportunity arose to purchase a Fuji X-A2 for $175 with the 16-50 XC lens (Which I've already used and confirmed as being capable) I decided it was worth a shot. I've used cameras without an EVF before (Olympus E-PL2, Sony NEX 5T, Samsung NX300) and while I like the option to use a viewfinder, I don't find it essential. What I would like to know, is that since my most recent comparison has been the X100, how does an X-A2 compare? I'm still waiting with baited breath for it to arrive in the mail and I'm excited that I'll have another "legit" camera, but I'm wondering if it is comparable to my X100 in terms of AF speed and High ISO?

We're Noct messing around with this review.
Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom impress in a lot of ways, but their noise reduction lags the competition and their lens corrections lack a real-world basis. DxO PureRAW 3 aims to come to their rescue without totally reinventing your workflow!
The Sony ZV-E1 is the company's latest vlogging-focused camera: a full-frame mirrorless camera based the FX3/a7S III sensor, aimed at YouTubers and 'creators' looking to go pro.
