Z6 for concert photography

I mostly do jazz concert photography these days, at a smallish venue where I typically stand at the back of the room. Currently I'm using a D7100 with a 70-200 f2.8 lens. It works great, but it is LOUD! I can't shoot during bass solos because of the mirror slap, and I'm quite aware of it (and I assume the audience is too) at other times as well.

So I've been eager for a mirrorless, and the Z6 seems like a good option. (The Z7 is out of my budget.) I like the DX crop on the D7100, and I hate to give it up. The light levels at the venue can vary wildly, but sometimes they are low, and I'm wondering about autofocus efficiency and accuracy.

Any thoughts?
