Macro - to Fuji, or not to Fuji
3

Ever since Fuji released the fabulous looking 80mm macro, my G.A.S has been flaring up. It looks like one of their finest pieces of work, and of course the price reflects that as well - hence my reflection at this moment.

A couple of years ago I bought an adapter that I've been using to feed my "macro-ish" needs for a whopping 59.99 (USD). It's been pretty fun the few times I've used it. I thought I would share this with you fine people in case someone wants to dabble in macro without spending a very large amount of $$ - see if it is your cup of tea so to speak.

Here are a couple of shots with the adapter on my X-T2 with 35mm f1.4 and a couple with an X-E2 with the 18-55. I was thinking using a lens with OIS would be superior, but I've always had better results with the 35mm and adapter.

Meanwhile I will agonize over the decision of to buy, or not to buy. I think the 80 might be my next piece of supreme glass to join my very small (thus far) collection.

Thanks for "listening" to my ramblings.
