D5 and Dng anomaly in Photoshop ACR

I have PS CS5 and CS6 installed on the same computer. I convert my D5 NEFs to Dngs so they can be read by the programs. In CS5 ACR in the Camera Calibration tab and under Camera Profiles I get a dropdown of maybe a dozen canned adobe profiles along with one I made myself in Colorchecker Passport that I named "Nikon D5"

However in CS6 ACR in the same dropdown I only see the homemade Nikon D5 profile and nothing else. I did the "update process thing" with the icon lower right of the image with no difference (please see image attached). Other NEFs or Dngs from older cameras such as the D700 show all the adobe profiles in the dropdown. The ACR is up to date.

As an aside the older D700 requires no "Process Update" for either NEFs or Dngs whilst the D5 Dngs do, why should this be?

Any ideas or info gratefully received.
