Re: What percentage are your keepers?

It all depends on what I'm shooting.

Last week I went to a Midieval Fair and shot about 200 images in an afternoon. Kept about 30 or so. None that I threw away were particularly poor images, just uninspiring to me.

Then I went to an equestrian competition for horse jumping. Using the pro-capture feature on my E-M1 II Olympus I logged about 2300 images on the card and finally kept 32. But, that original 2300 includes a lot of jump sequences shot at 18 frames per second, resulting in 15-30 frames per jump. Of the 2300 about 2,000 were tack sharp, the rest were when I let the focus point stray from the riders face.

So my keepers most often run about 20-30 per session, but the rate varies a lot.
