The EM1x - could it be about processing power?

Here is a bit of fun speculation. Olympus chooses to go built-in grip for their new flagship camera, beefing up the size and real-estate, combine this with the rumor they are staying at 20mp and have a hand hold-able high res mode(s) one has to ask, are they getting on the processing power train?

Considering what is now possible on smaller sensors in phones thanks to processing, and that Olympus has always been keen on different in-camera options (from art filters, customizable tone and colour curves, in camera resolution and focus stacking, even editing video and adding background music).

So could they be attacking the resolution challenge through smart processing, the noise and DR issues the same way? They are making a very big camera, and when one considers their EM1.2 could do 60fps with raw (18fps raw with af), a very solid 4k etc. One has to wonder why bother with all that additional size unless they are going to put it to some use.

I wonder what they are coming out the gates with, how good will these HR modes be?
