First of all, I definitely support this thread, and in any case, we should keep it up.

But I have two proposals concerning this thread:

1. I think it were better to limit the time for posting. Otherwise, the longer the thread lasts, the more pictures "vanish in infinity". For example, one thread could be valid for one month.

2. Additionally, we could prescribe some "invidual rules" for each thread. So we could
- predefine e. g. focal length, the lens, the aperture or
- predefine a specific theme (landscape, nature, buildings).....

But these are only my personal thoughts, I were glad if there is a discussion about it

I deliberately kept restrictions to a bare minimum here.  There's been other posts that had restrictions and I didn't bother to post in those all that often.
.
There's other threads here that pop up from time to time and they tend to have their own rules such as "picture should have been taken this month" or "you must comment on the image above if you reply" (for example).  Otherwise, the forum was getting flooded with lifeless posts about imaginary cameras that didn't exist (eg APS-C EOS R Variants) and people's musings about other brands and competing models without hardly any actual photograph posting.  So potential buyers were visiting the forum hoping to see examples of pictures from the EOS M camera platform and there were hardly any here.  It's seemed to be a good way to consolidate a bunch of unrelated images from the same platform in a single thread that people could return to.
.
I started this thread simply to get the ball rolling and to give folks an opportunity to post whatever they wanted from their EOS M cameras.  I began to post my samples under a subject heading (eg "Landscapes") and had intended to cover a wide variety of themes when posting my own examples but changed my mind when I saw some of the amazing pictures being posted by others.  I felt that they could run with the ball at that point and stopped posting so I could concentrate on other things here.  A lot of members don't care to start threads and I though it might help to give them a place to post and share whatever they wanted to share for the purpose of allowing others to see what can be achieved.
.
I only posted a a few times at the beginning of the thread to hopefully motivate.  And I posted older shots taken with the original EOS M camera rather than recent shots with newer EF-M lenses.  This is the first time I returned to the thread in 2 months !  I assumed that if there were any problems, unlikely as that might be, that a moderator would resolve it.
.
I figured the thread would get capped when it reached a certain number of replies and then someone else might trigger a new thread.  Feel free to start a new thread with your own rules and see how it goes.  It's been two months since this thread was started ... so you have a great opportunity now.
.
* I just had a look through some of the replies with images in this thread and there are some really impressive shots!  Thanks to all who posted.  I see there's a few posters who we otherwise don't hear from too often and I appreciate that they took to time to contribute.
