Remove and re-insert the ribbons in these locations. Do it with care so that the ribbon locks do not fall away as they are difficult to put back. A plastic tool would help. Once you remove, re-insert them, then do a test without re-assembling the camera. While it is open and if you still have a black lcd, push/pull the sensor ribbon to see if you get anything on screen (remember to remove cap and have it pointed somewhere with light).
