I had the Pen-F before I got my XE-3. I found the EVFs were virtually identical, with the XE-3 a touch better. I also prefer the info layout on the Fuji. I’m very nearsighted, so viewfinders have never been “optimal” for me. That said, I find the EVF in the XE-3 satisfactory.

Note that the Pen-F display info will not rotate. I love this feature on the Fuji. Every camera should have it.

OT: The construction on the Pen-F is second to none. Beautiful, but like a tank. When I got the XE-3 it felt cheap. By that I mean it didn’t feel cheaply constructed, just that it was a lot lighter than the Pen. I actually prefer the lighter weight.
