Canadian Oly service - Trinitek

The EM-1ii I sent to their Cdn sub-contractor, Trinitek for repair on extended warranty repair about ten days ago arrived back, via courier today. I sent it in because I had periodically ha electrical "freezes", failures to react to controls, and even failure to turn off, and also a few minor cosmetic issues.

Impressively quick turn-around, as they say that they:

Replaced main cicuit board, stabilizer/sensor/top cover, right front grip, adjusted all functions, reset camera to factory settings, upgraded firmware, tested and cleaned.

I'm posting this because i did, originally, have some problems getting any response from Trinitek by Email or phone (see my earlier posts), and am happy to report that Olympus service has once again - as it usually has in my 45 years of using their cameras and lenses - really come through. Not without a hiccup or two, but as always effectively and  thoroughly in the end.  And, last but not least, with a feeling that I am dealing with human beings doing their best, rather than a big faceless corporation.
