Walkabout Lens for D750

Hi,

After a few years away from photography, I’m looking for some advice on a walkabout lens.

I’ll be using a D750. For background, I only plan to have 3 lenses in my kit:

1) Macro - Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro VC USD

2) A 300mm telephoto (further down the line so not of immediate concern)

3) An all-round walkabout lens

Based on reviews and posts, I am leaning towards the Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 but before I pull the trigger, I would like to canvas opinion.

The potential alternative options (unless I’m missing any obvious ones):

  • Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM Art (seems to review positively)
  • Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR Lens  (Reviews a mixed bag)
  • Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR

The Tamron is the absolute limit budget wise. UK based.

Thanks
