I like to get shots of holiday decorations, xMas tree lights and what they adorn, street/people, gourmet meals/eating out, the places where people gather, and family.Looking for some inspiration as fall is soon to end and winter while be here in no time at least up north. I've found myself stumped when it comes to doing photography in the wintertime, particularly on those gloomy days it's hard to get motivated to go outside or find something compelling. What do you like to shoot in the winter? Also, any lens that might get more use in the winter than others?
Not that is some street-shooting. Great idea. One time I was at an event in Mexico and there were these beautifully dressed women who were stunning walking by at a gala of some sort. It was outdoor under a cover and the reflected light was absolutely perfect. I was right there with my XT-2, 56 and 90. (I was staying there and was just walking around with my gear.)Thank you, Greg. They are all tourists visiting Copenhagen, so in a sense the answer is yes. Each and every one of them are posing to have their must-have portrait taken in front of the colorful houses in Nyhavn. That's where I move in as a silent 'second shooter'.![]()
