Humble apologies (especially to Bill and Courtney) for having been conspicuous in my absence here. My excuses are as follows:

1. My new life with Nancy has turned out to be so much more joyous, fulfilling and all consuming than I ever though possible at this age.

2. some long-time client were selling their large business and they asked me to be chief counsel on the deal. Transactional work like this has been what I've done most of my career, but it is all consuming when you are in it.

3. My gun club suffered a management crisis and I was drafted to be President, which has turned out so far to be about a 35 hour/week unpaid, but rewarding job. Pretty much all consuming when coming into this as a newbie.

4. It's hunting season here. What can I say? All consuming...

At any rate, anything goes in this thread (as long as DPReview's general standards are not violated): any camera; any subject; any post-processing; etc. Recent images you have created in the past week or two are much preferred but not required. A little background on where, how and why you made the image(s) you posted would add interest. By posting here, you are inviting constructive criticism and general discussion of your images. Please share your expertise by providing constructive criticism on photos others have posted.

We look forward to seeing your recent photos and reading everyone's comments.

Greg
