An unenviable choice!

my kit 14-42 has apparently gone bad! (See a different post for details)  I'm using a 1st gen E-M10, which I like very much.  I love the size, and the image quality is good enough for what I do, though I wouldn't MIND better IQ.

Now, I have two . . No, four, choices, below listed in ascending order of budgetary cost..

  1. Buy a new kit lens.(the cheapest option which allows me to continue fat dumb and happy).
  2. spend more and buy a pro series lens (12-40 f/2.8 pro?) or something similar  from Panasonic. (for me, less than $1000 US)
  3. Buy a new camera with a kit lens but a better sensor. (A tad over $1000 US)
  4. Buy into a whole new system  (cost unknown, but unlikely to cost less than $2500 US.  I can afford to do this, but not certain it would be right for me since I like the size, weight, and IQ of the E-M10, and I'm not sure I can duplicate size and weight in non 4/3s gear)

I'd appreciate your thoughts on these choices along with your reasons for your thoughts.  Thanks!
