Canon Pro-10 problems

Got a problem with the Canon Pro-10.  I like the printer but don't use it that often, only when I want the best prints for gifts or competitions and the occasional sale.  Anyway, I tried

to print a black and white today and the prints came out really funky and horrible.  The prints should have come out looking very much like the first photo.  They instead came out almost looking like a negative with funky blue edges and sections with a weird cyan color cast in the darker areas.  I used Canon Luster paper and had black and white selected in properties.  The commands were issued from Photoshop.  I took some photos of the prints and hope they provide enough info for a good guess.  I've had this printer for a couple of years and have never seen anything like it.  While slow, it usually produces excellent prints.  All thoughts are welcome and thanks.
