I need advice from you expert guys, if this lens is good enough for my rebel t3? Mostly for low light and portraits.
Thanks in advance.
+3 for the 50 STM. Good IQ. Very quiet. Very well-behaved.
You'll probably have to pretty much rely on buyer reviews for info on the Yongnuo (there are plenty at Aliexpress and Amazon). The lens you link to is basically a clone of the Canon 50mm f/1.8 Mk II (noisy, kinda sketchy AF). I had two of the Canon 50's and one was pretty decent (still noisy tho), and one was pretty bad. The 50 STM is worlds better.
Do note that Yongnuo released a v2 version of the 50/1.8 this past spring. It's said to address some of the shortcomings of the original model...
From Yongnuo: "improving the mechanical structure and coating technology, its focus accuracy, auto-focus speed and light transmittance are increased. Furthermore, it can control backlight ghost and glare."
Valuable info re. the original model, if you read between the lines.
Best of luck,
