D850 supply - now plentiful (and cheaper)

Now that the D850 is over a year old, and no longer the latest hot ILC product (since Z-mount Nikons and R-mount Canons, plus Sony MILCs, are now competing for the pocketbooks of the well-heeled casual photographer), I've noticed that both B&H and Adorama now routinely list new D850s as "In Stock" for immediate delivery (unlike the prolonged out-of-stock situation that existed here in the US market for much of the past year).

In the used/refurbished market, B&H currently lists a used Condition 9+ D850 body priced at $2,899 in stock (and used D850 bodies on eBay and other sites have been sold for even less, with the pricing trend downwards):

This is a good time for anyone in the market to buy a D850 (if sticking with the old F-mount, versus investing in the new Z-mount ecosystem).

It would not be surprising if Nikon begins promotions to push D850 inventory sooner-than-later (such as the free battery grip for the once-hot D500), especially given how desperate both Nikon and Canon are for ILC revenue right now - for those who aren't aware, industry-leader Canon recently reported ominously weak ILC numbers:
