Sensor Spot - can't get out

Looking for advice...I use older sony Nex cameras, a nex-6 and f3. The f3 I keep around as a beater/street camera, because it's small and decent enough image quality for my needs.

However, I recently noticed an uncleanable spot when stopped down to even 5.6 or below on any lens.  I've cleaned the sensor carefully with Eclipse, but can't get it out. When viewed stopped down to f22, focused close and shot at a light source or sky, I can see a triangular shape in every photo. I can't see any spots on the IR glass, and have enclosed photos.

Any sugggestions on trying to fix this? It's an old camera, and if it's not repairable, or if the sensor has developed a dead spot, it's probably worth replacing with another body, but would like to save it if I can.

Any tips would be helpful.
