60 years of photos and counting...

I had a Fujifilm T500 for a while, which I think was the same or extremely similar camera. I had bought it "open box" and used it on one RV trip in the USA. Pictures and video were OK, but several times it did not want to focus when near maximum tele. Wasted a lot of moments trying to figure out where to point it in order to get focus. Otherwise, it was acceptable as a pocket point and shoot. I did return the camera and got a refund due to the focusing issue. I now use a Fujifilm F100fd (bought used at thrift store) which has no issues so far. It does have a shorter zoom however, 28-140mm. Luckily the digital zoom is great , which is fine for me.  Attached a sample of the d.z. 574 mm focal length below.
