Re: Regarding subject tracking

I agree with most of the settings

But for BIF I use CFG6 this way

1/-predicatble trajectory 0/0/front or 1/0/front with one bird This avoids AF locking on a buzy background Since nothing is supposed to appear between camera and bird IMO ther is no point to have first parameter at 2 whether or not this can slow down the AF is difficult to evaluate fuji had always been very discrete on these parameters...

2/- For erratic trajectories 1/2/front

Zone AFC 3*3 for big birds 5*5 for smaller

11 fps with the H1 gives you no black out at all

AF with the back button, limited burst wit the shutter button

Spot or center weighted light measure

With these settings I get around 60+-70% tack sharp shots (recently posted some samples)

Keep OIS on without issue

There is some strategic thinking to have with regard to the buffer, if RAW is recorded only 35 shos tbefore buffer is full With FJPEG only you get at least 75 shots Su if a long follow up is needed it i worth considering . This implies pretest to asses a good exposure the JPEGs being less permissive to errors as fa as esposure is concerned
