It's at least a stop and a half faster than all of these, and a different FL range. It's 2.5x zoom, more than the 7-14mm 2x zoom and sigma's 18-35mm <2x zoom. It has a Leica name on it. It's a zoom, so more covenant than five zooms, plus you can record video while zooming. It's the fastest ICL zoom on the market. It's a constant aperture zoom.

...The ... numbers above wold bring in the lens at about $2000 by my simple numbers extrapolation. Your guess?

Your $2000 sets the absolute minimum price, IMO. The "in a single zoom lens" features listed abouve add more value.

My guess: $2400-$2700.

Edit: I wouldn't buy it for more than $1800, but that's just my value on that FL and fstop. I think videoographers' demand will let panny start at the higher end of my guess.
