Don't believe the stories about the Olympus menu structure being complex (particularly the EM5.2) it is easy enough to master. Look hard at the EM5.2 as a suitable camera, and remember that this forum is full of Panasonic fans!

Olympus users outnumber Panasonic users about 2:1, maybe more.

It's not just a matter of an intrusive, Byzantine and overly complex menu structure, with the EM10 and EM5, Olympus so slavishly tried to emulate the LOOK of their film cameras, that contemporary standards of handling and ergonomics were pretty much ignored. Both REQUIRE an external, add-on grip to improve handling, making them bigger and heavier than out-of-the-box cameras. Function Follows Form. Not great.

The EM1-series is excellent, but out of the OP's budget.
