Eye focus:
Eye focus works consistently with closer subjects and the result is very accurate.

At about half-body distance with 84/1.4 eye focus worked about 50% of the time. Other times camera focuses on the face.

After obtaining focus on the eye or on the face camera can be moved around for the desired composition. Very useful.
Eye focus works with glasses. In this case, the camera focuses on the eyebrow. A 100% crop.

Multifunction bar: I left it 'enabled' 5 days ago. I accidentally changed the settings once. Leaving it 'enabled' works very well. No more fiddling to turn it on and make it work.
AF on a horizontal line: Camera cannot focus on a low contrast horizontal subject, such as the edge of a table, with the camera in normal shooting position (ie, horizontal). Tilting the camera slightly doesn't help, it needs to be tilted nearly 45 degrees for AF to work. Luckily, manual focusing is easy with MF aides.
Color: Color continues to be pleasing and appears to be slightly more punchy than I am used to. Following are DPP processed (Picture style: standard) without any saturation adjustment.

Banding:
Minimal noise and no banding in the normal shooting involving some shadow lifting.

This was accidentally underexposed. No issue with skin tone, btw.

For deep shadows, color banding is almost always present. With 5D IV it was rare.
Travel combo: Took the camera and RF 24-105 to South Island. Most of the shots above are from this combo. Nearly 90% of the time I was happy with the focal range, other times I wanted longer reach. Cropping helped is most of these situations.

Servo AF: With some practice, I am much more comfortable with servo AF.
So far, loving this camera.
