Upgrading SL1 (100D) to SL2 (200D)/ Just go Fuji?
Oct 22, 2018
Hello guys!
I have my Canon SL1 (100D) for about 2 years, and i really like it. Ive learned alot with it and im very fond of the little size of the camera. The only thing missing is the connectivity and the swivel.
I have a collection of cheap lenses with which im very happy
- Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM (i should sell this since i dont really use it)
- Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM (The lens that 95% of the time is in the camera)
- Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM (Great lens when i need a zoom)
- Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM (Excellent lens for portraits)
Wish list:
- Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM (For landscape photography)
Im really pleased with the little camera, but there are times i miss the conectivity. A friend of mine has the Nikon D3400, so he can share some pics right there when we take them, and sometimes i wish i could do that, but it is not possible.
In some ways i feel im close to outgrown the camera and when that happens im planning to get into fuji (XT-3), but for now i think im ok. Why not upgrade to a better canon? Because i think fuji is just better in that price range.
So the question is, is it worth the upgrade? Should i get the SL2 for that nuisances i have, will i get more benefits? Should i just wait a little more to make a better upgrade in a year maybe, when ill outgrown the camera and get the fuji? Should i just get the fuji and stop "wasting money" on canon?
All feedback is wellcome
Thanks!.
