D810A vs D850 for astrophotography

I recently upgraded from a D800 to the D850 and I love the new camera.  I took both on a recent trip to Alaska, and was surprised how much I could tell the difference between them; not so much between the actual images, but between the cameras as I was shooting them.  I haven't done much night photography, though I did a little while in Alaska to get the northern lights and have previously photographed the moon and milky way too.  I've never had the D810A, but I understand it is designed for astrophotography, because of the special IR filter it has.  Does anyone know how the D850 compares to the D810A for astrophotography?
