I am currently thinking of the EM1ii with the 14-150mm lens. This will enable me to get to grips with Olympus and 4/3 and halve the weight in the process. I think this will be adequate for Sri Lanka and if I really enjoy using the camera I will think seriously about what I need for Botswana and may accept the need to increase the weight limit for a 100-400 lens. At that stage I will also need to consider a second body and additional shorter lens - and probably sell the Nikon to fund it!

I've recently upgraded from the EM10 II to the EM1 II and it's an amazing camera. I've got the old mk1 version of the 14-150 which I used on all my M43 bodies and it's a great lens, particularly considering it's size and versatility. The IBIS on the EM1 II will allow you to shoot at much slower exposures that you would imagine is possible.

Enjoy the new camera and have a great time on your trip!
