Is the Sony 18-105 f4 G really F4?

I read that you have to multiply the lens aperture with the crop factor to get the "real" f number that the camera will be able to use.

So a FF 50mm f1.8 lens will be 75mm f2.7 on an APSC body.

Is it true for the 18-105mm as well?

So an an APSC it is actually constant F6 not 4.?

Thanks for the help.
