Marrakech, Morocco and desert tour

Just got back from a week’s time in Morocco, wanted to share some pictures from the trip

The thousand-year-old walls of the old Medina

The souks (markets) are so tight, I’ve no idea how the moroccans manage to zip through them ln mopeds

The Medina is a haven for stray cats

Jemaa El Fna, the main square (one side of it)

Sunset at the far end of Jemaa El Fna by the main entrance

Marrakech is moped land, the Medina especially so

Sometimes getting a close-up shot of the locals in action was an option only after dark

Ouarzazate is a popular filming location. Game of Thrones fans might recognize the ancient village of Ait Benhaddou in the background

Morocco’s landscape is incredibly vast and varied

Getting any kind of picture whilst trying not to fall off the canel was a challenge

Merzouga isn’t really in the Sahara as they may want you to believe there, but it was nice to experience something close to the Sahara

I was bored in the camp, so sneaked out to try and shoot some astrophotography. First ever attempt at a moon shot
