Best Field of View app

I use primes rather than zooms and one thing I’d really like is an app which uses an iPhone camera and allows me to decide on the lens to choose by being able to see what’s included at what focal lengths.

Like an optical rangefinder and I think film directors used to use a piece of hardware like a small zoom telescope in the analogue days (not sure what this was called).

The other alternative is to make myself something simple with the horizontal field of view angles drawn on a piece of wood. I used to have a frame to look through but the difficulty was what to use to measure distance from the eye to know the field of view.

The final alternative is to memorise from lens use, which I can do approximately, but want to be a bit more accurate.

Any recommendations please? Thanks.
