It's certainly salvageable by increasing the contrast.

I'm curious as to why you chose HDR for this image. A single exposure might have presented more impact.

Vander, I usually shoot 3 exposures for HDR when a significant part of the scene is illuminated by direct afternoon sunlight.  In this case I felt there was too much glare coming off the sunlit mountain sides.  Here's the single exposure shot a "normal" exposure.

And this is my HDR image.
