Have an older XPro1 I rarely use anymore, and would like to breathe some new life back into it. Am considering a 590nM Infrared conversion. Has anyone here converted their Fujis into infrared cameras, and if so, any issues or problems? tks in advance jb

There is a relatively new false colour filter now available from LifePixel called Hyper Color.

As you are considering a 590nm conversion, I thought it might be something you could take a look at.

I’ve had my cameras (X-T10 & X100F) converted by LifePixel before (sent them to the US from Japan) and haven’t had any problems.  Both times I got the Full Spectrum conversion. As I like to have the option to change filters (at the end of my lenses) depending on what style of IR I want to shoot in.

I’ve ordered the  Hyper Color filter, but haven’t received it yet so I can’t share my experiences yet. But you can read up about it from the link I posted above.
