Birds at the Grindstone Creek Wetland, or what's left

There are still some birds at these wetlands and the light was great to get some decent colours. Fall is also progressing slowly and should be in full swing in these regions as soon as we get some cool nights.

This cormorant is drying off his wings. The green of the forest reflects nicely in the water

The cormorant and mallard seem to ignore each others presence

The water level in the Grindstone creek is very low

The maples start showing off heir colours

I liked her eye reflection

A red winged blackbird in the reeds

Looks like an American Bittern to me ?

Did not like to get hos feet dirty

Interesting stump reflected in the water
