Imaging Resource & Imatest

Hi,

Imaging Resource does color accuracy tests using Imatest. Example: https://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/sony-a7-iii/ZA7M3hVFAI000100_colorerror.png

My understanding is that delta AB is far less accurate than delta 2000, and the latter is the standard. I don't understand why anyone would bother to run this test on every camera if they're going to introduce such a confounding factor in their results.

Example from imatest's website:

The difference in mean color difference is very large between the two.

Am I getting something wrong here?
