Kick or Stick On The M - M5 vs M50
Re: Kick or Stick On The M - M5 vs M50
I stopped M camera purchases with the M3. If I had a newer one I would probably use it for a few years too. Instead I replaced the M3 with the SL2 and bought a few EF-S lenses to make up a small, lightweight kit.
Yeah but the difference is that the M systems works for me as it is, I don't really care how much future it has or doesn't because currently I have it and it works.

So is mine and it will stay at the current level. There might come a time when there is nothing new to buy from Canon for the M system.
My total financial outlay in the EOS M system is less than the price of one EOS R lens and almost less than the price of one Fuji lens.

If you are fine with what the M system is today then buy into it as this could be all you will ever get from it. If you will eventually want more and use a system that will allow you to grow into FF then the M system is not for you.
