Use Olympus Viewer

When comparing M43 to APS-C and FF shots, its is important to remember that RAW converters play an important role in sharpness and dynamic range.  I've used Lightroom, Photoshop, Exposure X4, Darktable, Aftershot Pro, and a few others and I have consistently found that Olympus Viewer creates the best RAW conversions.  If you would like to squeeze every last drop of dynamic range and clarity out of your shots, I recommend using Viewer to convert RAW to 16-bit TIFF for processing in your favorite editing program.  I only do this with shots I really care about because it would be too time consuming and take up too much space to do it with every shot.  But here is a RAW vs TIFF example for comparison.

Same filename, same processing.

RAW ORF

16-Bit TIFF

Try it for better images.
