I usually use High (jpg) + RAW when I taken photos, but usually delete those jpgs at the time of "import" (which in my case is not an import but more a saving of files from one location to another)

I do this to have access to the full resolution pre-view in camera, but hear from some people here that they use jpg - possibly not necessarily Pro Neg standard - but maybe some other simulation.

This arvo I was just testing the closest distance in real life on the 23/1.4 which I hadn't used much since 2016 and didn't delete those jpg files. Used the same recipe in Capture One but find at least Pro Neg a bit flat??

Does anybody here have a RAW file where the jpg is actually better?? Personal opinion counts for a lot in my book but just being curious. I have use Classic Chrome, which I really dislike and Acros which I could not get my head around. Pro Neg is my third one I use, for preview only.

Here are a few pics from this afternoon, no cat around so some flowers it is ...

... plus a couple straight out of camera but adjusted to 1800px:

Note that the red flowers look more like the second simage, not the violet/purple one before. Pro Neg maybe??

Any examples where your experience differs from mine appreciated!
