Re: Fujifilm XF 18-135mm vs XF 18-55mm + XF 55-200mm for travel photography

I use the XF 18-55 and XF 55-200 combination for landscape photography. I also have the XF 14 if I need to go wider. I use these lenses in combination with an X-E2.

I am very satisfied with the combination, it covers a large focal range for an acceptable weight. All 3 lenses are sharp. I especially like the XF 55-200, sharp lens and good image stabilization.

I use the complete focal range. Sometimes I feel the need to go longer, but there is no low weight solution for this.

I will be considering the XF 16-80 when it becomes available. Provided it is sharp, it might be a good single lens alternative if I really want to go light on longer or difficult hikes. I will miss the >80-200 range though.
