Go for the XF 18-135mm for travel photography

The 18-135 is my always on the Cam lense! I love the Output it delivers - all over the zoom Range. And I love it’s flexibility... No need to carry and change between different lenses, when hiking, biking or backcountry skiing! Yes, the 55-200 has more tele, but the 50-230 has even more - at the same IQ (as long as you have the light).

In dusty or wet and stormy regions, it is great to avoid changing lenses! That is when the 18-135 is the best choice. Used it a lot in SouthAfrica and Island! (And for sure during outdoor aktivities mentioned above!)

Just be sure to compare 2-3 of the 18-135 lenses, as sharpness on the long end can vary extremely between the lenses!
