Take a camera with new type of shutter, because shutter shock was the first that disappointed me in M43 after Sony.

Now I have GX80 and GX9 and after a comparison with A6500 I decided to stay at Panasonic.

SS is not a function of M43. It is specific to the shutter design. DSLRs with that big ol mirror flapping around are more prone to shock than M43. Also, there are several M43 cameras that are very good about SS: EM5 mk ii, EM1 mk ii, G85 and G9 (I can't personally confirm the pannys but have seen numerous comments to that effect).

But problem of SS is problem of M43. Sony resolved it totally 10 years ago, opposite of Panasonic and Olympus that "reduced" it in last year.

Maybe we aren't communicating well. Mechanical shutters are susceptible to shutter shock, the degree of which is dependent on their design and engineering. Please explain how M43 (a lens mount standard and sensor size) makes SS happen. And, for that matter, what did Sony do to "resolve it totally"?

Sony did EFCS. And it did unmovable mirror in DSLR too to prevent this type of vibration.

Unmovable mirror DSLR - still can't wrap my head around that one. Translation problem? For what it's worth, EFCS doesn't prevent shutter shock, but it does help.

I think he means DSLT. The fixed translucent mirror Sony SLRs built from 2010 to 2016.

Absolutely no mirror slap, because the mirror never moved. But you did lose around a third of a stop of light due to the translucent mirror.
