Are you sure IS is working?

I have both an SD1 and SDQ modified by Wei Duan and it was my understanding that is does not work on either sigma mount canon lenses or on canon lenses.  I'm pretty sure I read this in the xitec fora on users using his conversions in China.

I've never tried it though, partially because of this understanding/belief.  Maybe it is a new feature though as far as I knew Wei Duan's conversions do not involve chip mods which I believe are necessary to accomplish IS functionality.

If you really are seeing IS support I may have to get an IS lens to try it out?

I love the look of the background in the images from that 35/2 IS lens. I bet you have been using that lens a lot, huh? I can imagine getting the mount changed, just to use that lens. Sigma doesn't offer any normal focal length prime lenses with IS, and 35mm on the H is just about perfect, if you ask me.

I'm not a fan of that 11-16, but I like how it covers the sensor. That's really interesting. I don't think Sigma makes a lens that wide which covers the whole sensor. Still, the 8-16 offers a wider view in crop mode.

Yes, I like canon 35/2 IS, it sharp, have IS and lightweight.

I dont't like sigma which not produce lightweight prime lens(f1.8 or f2 are ok for me) with IS.

As sigma user which usually use ISO100, IS is very important.

Tokina 11-16 is sharp lens but AF is very slow and sometimes can't AF (not sure, my lens have some quality issue?)
