I had a horrible thought.

As pleased as I am with both images, and with the possibility of the comparison, somehow the film image made in into the digital realm. What are the effects of doing that, if any?

The film was sent to Richard Photo Lab in LA, where they developed and scanned it.

I asked for their best scan.

This was the best I could do at the time.

And, it was the end of my experiments with film, since the SD15 was so clearly better and by so very much.

The cost was high, about $45 in 2011. This included buying the film as well as development and scanning.

There are much better ways of scanning, and even of developing. I found this out later but did not care.
