Re: I'm Very Impressed With Mine

Nice Vince,

Note, if your using LR, also do try some of the adobe profiles, landscape and vibrant seem to work well too with the x-t100, but its all subjective! I am really pleased with the x-t100, the screen like you say is very flexible and I like the rear wheel lol, I think Fuji made an incredible product with x-t100

I bought the X-T100 with the 15-45 kit lens a couple of months ago to act as back up and a lighter complementary camera to my X-T1. I'm realy impressed with both cameras, especially the IQ (taking in RAW and processing in LR).

The X-T100 is very small and light, especially with the kiit lens. It is well made (OK - not a tank like the X-H1). I was a bit taken aback with the lens's plastic flange , buit it seems to work well and is light. The kit lens is stunningly sharp and has a very useful wide angle at 22.5mm (FF equiv). I do find the vertical thumb wheel at the back a bit clunky, but, bearing in mind the size of the camera, the controls generaly work fine for me.

The design of the 2 axis rear screen is just - brilliant! Much better than the X-T2 I had and, I think, better than the X-H1. I'm not a fan of fully articulated screens and the X-T100 design is the best design I've used for a rear screen. Oh, and it feels substantial (which fully articulated screens never do).

I happily use it up to ISO3200 and would not baulk at ISO 6400. It doesn't seem to need much noise reduction and I use the same import profiles as for my X-H1. Here are some shots at ISOs up to 1600:

To me Fuji have made an excellent small camera and lens - especially for the price.
