The UWA zoom I've been waiting for

I wanted a good ultra-wide angle for landscape that was relatively light and compact, so I'm exactly the person this lens was designed for. I have been very pleasantly surprised with the lens performance in landscape shooting, at f8-f11. Noticeably sharper than my Tamron 24-70 across the frame, lovely crispness like a good prime lens. Pixel peeping, only the tips of the extreme corners show field curvature, but the borders are sharp.

Flare resistance seems great.

Having a 77mm filter thread is very handy.

No VC, no distance markings but I can live with that for the price.
