The camera was announced in Feb 2017 so it's been out for almost two years.

It's being sold for 460 (euro) and I am considering buying it (I'd try to sell the M10 + 15-45 mm).

Your thoughts?

The M6 is the 'perfect mirrorless camera' if not for the slightly-louder (than I'd prefer) shutter click.  It's a completely well rounded camera and I believe it's currently the best built of the current models and offers everything you'd expect to see with a DSLR in a very compact body.

Its actually a good camera, but for right now, it is also worth waiting for the possible EOS R APS-C camera. Normally, I'd say go ahead, but the EOS-M lineup hasn't been fully fleshed out, and may never be if the R APS-C comes about. I wouldn't want to buy into a dead-end system if a perfectly reasonable (or even better) replacement is around the corner.

PLEASE STOP POSTING FAKE RUMORS HERE.  It affects the sales of cameras, which damages the baselines implemented by the manufacturers.  In fact if you're going to refer to the EOSM as a "Dead System" when their latest lens hasn't even officially hit the streets here where I am, then you really shouldn't post here on an EOS M forum where such comments are divisive and  dishonest.
