The camera was announced in Feb 2017 so it's been out for almost two years.

It's being sold for 460 (euro) and I am considering buying it (I'd try to sell the M10 + 15-45 mm).

Your thoughts?

Not if you want good auto-focusing in low light, IBIS / Dual-IS, or generally snappy auto-focus. M50 is currently the only EOS-M camera with somewhat good low light focusing ability. I'd suggest a micro-four-thirds camera if you care about getting the best auto-focus and stabilization performance. They're also generally very nice cameras and the available lenses are excellent. I have an M6 with 22mm f/2 and it's a nice compact setup, but I'm never gonna expand it or stick with this system. As for auto-focus speed (when it works) it's "decent" at best. Essentially the same detail level with a good 20mp MFT camera, at up to ISO 3200 (which is the most I ever use in APS-C too, because higher is just too extreme and there's no situation where I need that). If you care about ISO 6400 and higher (which you shouldn't, unless you have very special, specific requirements) and don't care about IBIS or Dual-IS (which can be unbelievably useful to the point of hilarity), forget about MFT, but do seriously consider other APS-C systems.
